What’s an Adductor strain?

The adductor muscles are made up of 5 individual muscles, the adductor magnus, brevis, and longus as well as the gracilis and pectineus muscles. The adductor muscles are responsible for the action of bringing your legs together but they also play a role in internal rotation of the hip. An adductor strain typically involves tearing of the adductor longus muscle.
